103 - wow freeze

Description
everytime i try to activate my engineering my wow freezes and i have to restart it. but then it does the samething all over again.

Myth024 Aug 17, 2011 at 01:20 UTC - 0 likesI also have this problem and have narrowed down when it happens and what I do to get it to "work".
If I learn new recipes then open up my trade-skill. WoW freezes and I have to end task. If I go back in and click on my trade-skill again, WoW will freeze again. If I use the curse client to delete all the add-ons saved variables then I have no problems. I usually don't have any problems if I haven't gotten any new recipes. In addition, when WoW froze the last time I analyzed the WoW.exe wait chain and it was waiting for network IO. I'm guessing that the problem is somewhere in how and when the add-on retrieves information from the server. I would recommend you disable the automatic scanning completely and make it a button to reset all the recipes and re-download them from the server. Although you may find a better way to fix it lol.
