This add-on is simply to warn you when you have been set AFK.

FAQ: I'm afraid it is against the Blizzard T&C to prevent the AFK from happening or canceling it by moving or jumping your character though an addon/macro or any software/hardware (e.g. G15 Keyboard). So please don't ask. I would love to help but it's simply not possible Just turn your sound up and use this addon! ;-)

I have been forced recently due to my account being hacked to contact the GMs to get my stuff back. And waiting for 2-8 hours for a GM to reply is bad enough as it is but when you are watching TV and don't notice your self going AFK then get logged out that really got on my wick as THAT was always the time the GM decides to contact me! To get around this I created this very simple add-on that just plays a sound (currently it a windows sound but you could change the wav to whatever you want!

Hope it helps others as well and I am sure there are other uses for this as well! I have already found it useful for something else as while making other add-ons and I find I am logged into the game while just making a quick change and 5 mins later I look up and I am logged out of wow... not any more! ;-)

Usage:

There is nothing to configure on this it doesn't time anything it is really simple and just plays a sound when you go AFK. Then plays another sound when you come back.

The game sets you AFK automaticly after a certain time (not changable) and then when you move sets you back automaticly.

If you want to change the sound files open the addon directory find the two sound files and replace them with the ones you want. Then restart WoW!

If you have a suggestion or bug then please by all means post a comment below but also PLEASE add a ticket here.

That way it will help me keep track of stuff I need to do. Also it will allow other people to vote on them, for example with bugs, people can say that this bug is more important that the other one or that they want/don’t want certain functionality someone has requested. Finally it keeps all the comments together for each bug or new functionality AND people can subscribe to each ticket individually to tell you when something has been fixed!

Again to add a ticket this go to http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/afkwarning/ (curseforge is the developers side of curse) then login with your curse.com account info and open a ticket. Please remember to specify if it is a bug or new functionality etc...
