10 - WhoKnowsRecipe reports recipe unknown when known
I'm still investigating but 3.0.004b sometimes reports a recipe as "could be learned by" when the alt already knows the recipe. I just saw this with a couple of enchanting formulas and mistakenly bought them with my trade mule. I'll try to watch for it to happen again and check the raw data to see if it's a bug in the lookup routine or missing data.

Your comment is not related to the defect, but anyway, the issue you report has been fixed in 3.0.006 :)

Thaoky Tue, 27 Jan 2009 09:22:35In answer to the defect summary, the answer is here:

This is due to inconsistent names between recipes and crafted items, the only real fix is to manage tables to link both, which costs a lot of time for little rewards, so I will not do it (not in the near term at least). I'll close the defect.

SpareSimian Tue, 20 Jan 2009 13:54:33I checked today and found my 425 BS had only about 5 recipes known, and the LUA matched the data displayed. So somehow the LUA data sometimes loses recipes. I logged back into that toon and poked around in his recipe book and that seems to have fixed it.
