58 - DataStore: Dependency Missing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing the new patch
2. Loading Warcraft
3. Checking AddOns before character login.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to not have any dependencies missing. Dependencies missing ("DataStore") from last release.

What version of the product are you using?
r48 [not the r48 no-lib version, the regular version]

Do you have an error log of what happened?
not in log, shows up before hand

Please provide any additional information below.
Downloaded the latest r48 release. Never had an issue with missing dependencies before on r-releases. Oversight?

    DataStore & modules have all been pushed as "release".

    Actually, no. The .pkgmeta approach won't work in this case, this is something I had discussed with Torhal, Ackis, and maybe ckknight was there too on irc.

    I will push DataStore modules to "release" in the next big release so that they can be downloaded with the client. Until then, downloading manually from Curse is the only way to get the full package.

    I'll keep this ticket in "waiting" status until the next release.

    Confirmed. Addon is useless if downloaded from Curse unless you manually download the dependencies. You can use the pkgmeta system on CurseForge to have it automatically package in the dependencies.
