65 - Learning recipe doesn't update DB
I just bought Recipe: Tender Wolf Steak in Gadgetzan for the buying toon and several alts. I read one copy and got ready to mail out the other 4 to the alts that needed it. At that point I noticed that the current toon was still listed in the "Could be learned by" list in the tooltip. I then opened and closed the Cooking frame and the current toon moved to the "Already known" list.
So apparently the process of learning a recipe does not trigger the DB update. One must open the matching skill book.
Is there a way to hook the "new skill learned" event?

Thaoky Mon, 14 Sep 2009 19:20:46It wouldn't help anyway. Recipes can only be scanned when the tradeskill pane is opened. The only other way is to work with the profession link, but this approach does not meet all my requirements at this time.
I'm closing the ticket, but make sure that if DataStore_Crafts changes to fully rely on the profession link, this would automatically be fixed.
