aAF is a lightweight replacement for the Blizzard aura display.
Features
- Create an unlimited number of aura groups
- Individually set size, scale, filters, growth direction, etc
- Filter auras by target, caster, name, and more
- Sort auras by Index or Duration
Configuration
Most ingame configuration options are self-explanatory. Secure bars are able to have buffs removed through clicking, however are not able to be clicked through or configured or configured in combat.
Move aura groups ingame by holding alt+shift and dragging. Type '/aaf move' to toggle move mode, wherein all aura icons are visible for accurate placement.
Be sure to check the new config file for updates to syntax or new options however. ;)
Slash commands
- /aaf - opens ingame config
- /aaf move - Shows all aura frames
Caveats
Creating or Deleting buff groups is currently buggy. Determining how to handle secure groups is a bit sloppy, resulting in them trying to filter or sort when they shouldn't, or not be clickable when they should. Weapon enchant display still doesn't work ( defaulting to blizzard display while I work on it ).
To Come
Besides the obvious bug fixes, I'd like to add button fascade support, additional sorting and filtering options, and anything else anyone may want ( that is feasible )
Wowinterface will probably be updated earlier and more frequently than here.

DesigningKnights Oct 05, 2010 at 22:58 UTC - 0 likesSo far it looks interesting, and a fair replacement for Satrina Buff Frames which is out of date and doesn't seem like it's going to be updated for 4.0.x. It took me a bit of configuring, but I think I've got it.
One thing I would like to see is options for the timers on buffs. on SBF I liked that I had timers in the form of mm:ss, like 09:34. I really don't like the timers as they are by default, only showing number of minutes rounded up until the final minute. I like knowing to the second how long I have on a buff or debuff.
Could you add timer options please? Allow us to format our timers the way we want them.
