140 - Tradeskill icon problem
Before you start: did you check if there is a newer version? There might be an alpha release that already addresses your issue. Please check http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/armory/files.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log onto a character after removal of the old version of this addon and clean install of this addon.
2. Repeat for all the characters on same realm and account.
3. Problem persists.
If you repeat the steps above after logging in again, do you get the same problem or was it a one-time event?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I unstalled the older version of Armory and installed the latest version. Also I cleaned out all the Saved Variables files associated with Armory. I then logged onto my characters. When I mouse over the LDB icon for Armory and look under the Tradeskill heading some of my characters show a ? icon for their respective tradeskill. I am still able to mouse over the icon and see that tradeskill and successfully open that tradeskill but the ? icon still persists. What version and language of WoW and what version of Armory are you using?
Wow 4.3.2.15211
enUS client
r471 for 4.3 on 11 Jan 2012 Armory
Do you have an error log of what happened?
None just the persistent ? icon for some characters.
Please provide any additional information below.
Not sure if this has a impaxct but my LDB is ChocolateBar Broker Display r149 for 4.3 on 5 Dec 2011

cursehelp Mar 24, 2012 at 12:31 UTC - 0 likesi was just looking through the tickets and saw this one. i also have the same problem of getting the red ? icon for profs.
armory totally reset my database the other night again and when i went to the hassle of updating banks, profs etc again i had this problem for 5 or 6 chars out of 10.

Warmexx Feb 11, 2012 at 13:43 UTC - 0 likesI tried to reproduce it and I got it once. The next few tries always showed the right textures. It puzzles me. Maybe I need to repeat by quiting the game completely.
That didn't help either. Still get the correct icons. It must be related to the profession name: the API returns it either empty or in another language. I noticed system welcome messages sometimes showing up in a foreign language lately. Maybe this is something similar.
Tried serveral times now, with different toons, but I can't reproduce it anymore. Also in your case at some point the icons should be there again.
