AssistMe is a very small, fast, lightweight AddOn to auto promote specific persons to assistant when you are the Raid Leader of your raid. AssistMe now also promotes persons on Calendar events aswell. Since this is the first AddOn I've made, I stuck to pure console commands, but it is very easy to use. The way it works is very simple: The addon looks through a list of names (that you provide it with) when ever you create or are given raid leader of a raid and promotes all the names on this list to assistant! It will then continue to check names as people join, leave, etc. In addition to working in raids, AssistMe will also look through the list of names and promote them whenever you create or are given moderating rights on a Calendar Event.

Adding new names or removing couldn't be easier :)

List of current /commands
/assistme - Will display the addons instructions - providing commands for adding, removing and showing players on your assist list.

/assistmeadd or /amadd - followed by a name will add that name to your list. (/amadd Someone) Make sure to use correct case for each letter.

/assistmeremove or /amremove - followed by a name will remove that name from yoru list. (/amadd Someone)

/assistmelist or /amlist - will print out a list of names on your assist list.

/assistmecalendar or /amcalendar - will turn the Calendar Promoting System on or off. This is Enabled by Default.

/assistmeswitch or /amswitch - will switch the current inuse AssistList between two seperate list. AccountList and a Player List. The Default list is the AccountList.

/assistmewhisper or /amwhisper - will turn the option for Whispering the Promotee on or off ("AssistMe: You've been promoted to Assistant by <You>!"). This is Disabled by Default.

Reason for creation
Myself and friends play lot of WoW and we're also officers in our guild and we find it pain to manually promote others every time we create a raid. Although there is a few larger addons that come with this feature I couldn't really find a nice small and simple version that was easy to use so I decided to create one.

Reporting
With the new calendar system impemented there may be a few new bugs if any. Let me know if you find any! As always post comments or a ticket for errors and things are weird with the addon. Make sure to type names correctly as well :)

Last Minute Notes
Newest Update (1.4.5) now has a Name Check routine to avoid double additions of one name. It also has a Title Case checker to try avoid names being entered in the wrong capitalization. Sadly the Title Case checker doesn't fix accented letters (áéúíÁÉÚÍ, etc) so make sure you enter them correctly. In any case only the first letter of the name should be in uppercase and rest in lower case - that's what this routine tries to default too!

I'm going to start looking into a seperate list for Calendar promotions due to request! (Zomg). Its easy to do, just thinking of a good way to do it for now, I over estimated what commands and user interactivity would be required to add it in without out affecting what is currently in place; I'll come up with a pro solution in the next week hopefully.
