4 - Vendor button to sell junk not working
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Loot some gray junk.
2. Confirm that the junk is in bags and is listed in the LDB display.
3. Visit a vendor.
What is the expected output?
The junk sell button should be colored yellow and clickable to sell junk.
What do you see instead?
The junk sell button does not work, the tooltip says nothing to sell.
What version of the product are you using?
r20110602000603, r20110527090111, or r20110526122836
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No error, just the button doesn't work.
Please provide any additional information below.
Version r20110517222308 and earlier versions the button does work. Downgrading to these versions makes the button perform as it should.

JaimSandar Jun 10, 2011 at 06:58 UTC - 0 likesI didn't click on another item, in fact the gray item that I clicked on did not go away when that "whoops" happened. Also, a few minutes later I clicked on it again and lost a stack of Succulent Clam Meat.

ckaotik Jun 10, 2011 at 06:30 UTC - 0 likesThat's strange - If you got the "Error! Item to be deleted is not the expected item." message, then the delete function would stop immediately and therefore not sell/delete that item. Did you maybe click a second item in the LDB/tooltip? I re-checked but I can't find any logical reason why BG would still even touch that item - it just can't...
The sell behaviour is one of the main points I'm currently working on but at least on my machine it seems to kind of work :/ Also, the fact that the LDB does not update properly is due to some architectural changes in the addon that I am - once again - working on " All in all there is a lot of fixing, repairing and improving to be done after having almost abandoned the addon ;)

Right after I posted the last message, I logged off and back on then I Shift-clicked on the LDB label just to try it again, and it not only gave the Error not expected message, but also disposed of 5x Noggenfogger Elixir!!! I didn't want that to happen!

JaimSandar Jun 10, 2011 at 03:33 UTC - 0 likesThe newest alpha, r20110609083541, now shows the vendor sell button correctly, but after clicking on it and selling the gray items the LDB junk label doesn't update or change to the no junk message. Also, the sell button doesn't gray out but stays colored. Clicking on it results in a chat message that there is "Nothing to sell" and the sell button grays out. After that, Shift-clicking on the LDB label results in a chat message: "Error! Item to be deleted is not the expected item."
