ag_Buu (Buena Unit Frames Continued)

PallyTank

This is a remake of the original unit frames created by Neebler for use with AG Unit Frames / Ace2.

As I understand it, Ciury (the last author of "NUF") has not been heard from since shortly before the release of Warcraft v2.0.1. Before he ceased work on NUF he had made a few promises that people seemed to be interested in - such as Ace2 compatibility and the ability to position buffs around the Unit Frames.

This version of NUF is brand new and works with the highly versatile AG Unit Frames (already Ace2 compatible) which in turn allows for a whole new level of customization never before seen in previous renditions.

Note: This is a continuation of Buena's project as Buena is no longer updating.

WoW 3.0.2 and ag_UnitFrames 3.0:

  • Portraits: To enable portraits type /aguf and click on Modules, check Portrait. Now you have to go to each option (e.g Player, Target, Target's Target, etc) and click on the Portrait tab to Enable Portrait (3D).
  • Using Buu: Open /aguf configure select the Player option and click on the Frame tab. Select BUU as the Frame Style in the drop down menu. Repeat for each frame (e.g Player's Pet, Party, Target, Target's Target, etc).
  • Bar Texture: The texture used on bars in the screenshot is BantoBar. To enable BantoBar go to /aguf and Unit Frames. Choose BantoBar from the Bar Texture drop down menu.
  • Castbar: I personally do not use this, to turn it off go to Modules and uncheck the Castbar option.

WoW 3.1.0:

  • I am renaming the project to ag_Buu for better recognition and association with ag_UF.
  • I am working on fixing the configuration tab for better utility so we stop editing the source lua to get configured. (Thanks to kagaro of ag_Pimpster for letting me see how things work).
