Main (esES)
This addon creates a separate display for your target's debuffs, only you can filter out what you don't want to see. If you're a tank and you're tired of not being able to quickly glance and see if Thunder Clap is up, or if you're caster/melee and want to easily see whether debuffs like Curse of the Elements, Shadow Vulnerability, Fairie Fire, and Curse of Recklessness are up, this is the mod for you. In addition to target debuffs, it can also filter player debuffs, buffs, and friendly target debuffs/buffs.
To use it, simply install it into your Interface\Addons folder as you would any other mod. Once you're in game, type: /dfilter
You should be presented with a menu for configuration. Select your target type (hostile, player, friendly), select either the Debuff or Buff tab, then type in the name of the debuff or buff that you'd like to monitor. Make sure filtering is turned on for your target type, or you won't see anything get filtered.
Targeting is handled automatically--if you target something hostile, its target is considered friendly. If you target someone friendly, their target is considered hostile. Both hostile and friendly targets are filtered through their own respective lists. If you'd prefer not to monitor your target's target, uncheck ToT Filtering on the options menu.
To move the frames, check "Show Backdrop" and shift-click and drag one of the backdrops.
If you'd like to change the orientation of any frame, shift-right click a backdrop or one of the monitored debuffs or buffs. Assuming more than one debuff or buff is visible, you should see the selected frame rotate around in a clockwise fashion. To change the orientation of the buff duration time, ctrl-right click.
For a count display on the total number of debuffs or buffs, check "Show Count". A small number should appear next to each frame.
Most of the original command line functions have been removed due to the new configuration UI, but a few still exist. If you'd like to see them, type /dfilter help.
Settings are stored on a per-character/server basis, so it should work fine if you have alts. I'm really not a mod writer, so I looked at a lot of mods (CT_BuffMod, GhostBarMod, many others) for help. Thanks to all the authors!
