Destruction For Dummies

8 - WarlockDestruction 4.0.6

Ok, the 4.0.6 priority list that is there creates some errors, as well as is very suboptimal. The EJ and WD guys are behind on updating.

This is meant to be used after adding my other enhancement, it uses the Dark Intent and Soulshatter.

Also requires this change...

dddl\strings.c

     { "Glyph of Howling Blast",	45806 },
+    { "Glyph of Lash of Pain",	71102 },
     { "Glyph of Life Tap",	63941 },

LocaleLocal.lua

 English2ItemIndex["Glyph of Howling Blast"] = 45806;
+English2ItemIndex["Glyph of Lash of Pain"] = 71102;
 English2ItemIndex["Glyph of Life Tap"] = 63941;

As per where it comes from, its a conglomeration of the standard stuff (a modified preamble) as well as the priority list from simulationcraft.org. Some of the modifications including taking into account that Fel Armor is now a constant once applied, Dark Intent needs to be kept up, and Incinerate can now create the Shadow and Flame effect.

Regarding the Glyph of Lash of Pain, a glyphed succubus is higher DPS than an imp (which simulationcraft and the EJ guys all agree on in 4.0.6), including a talented and glyphed imp. If the user has the glyph, they should be summoning the succubus, and not using demon soul (Shadow bolt is not in Destruction rotation anymore, thanks to Incinerate creating the Shadow and Flame effect). If they don't have the glyph, then their best dps is with the imp and demon soul.
