Discord Loot Council is a solution to a problem felt by many raiding guilds that use the Loot Council system. This mod is designed to helps the leaders of a raid to know who wants what items for which spec.

When the user opens the loot window of any mob or chest a button located in the loot window will allow the loot process to begin. The group/raid will then be able to send formatted messages to this "Lootmaster" in order to show their interests in a particular item.

After tells have been collected, the Lootmaster may then output the results in an easy-to-read fashion to the guild's officer chat for final decision making. The end result of loot distribution is up to the Master Looter of the raid, the user of this addon requires no such priveledges. Discord Loot Council simply streamlines the information.

Usage: To start DLC, simply open the loot window of whichever mob you wish to collect tells for and click the Announce Loot button in your loot box. This will start the loot collection procedure and will detail instructions to your raid on how to send tells.

Tells from the raid members must be formatted as follows:

NUM , SPEC , COMMENT

1. The first argument, NUM, is the number of the item which they wish to bid on. These numbers are announced when the tell collection process is started.
2. The second argument, SPEC, has 3 possible values. They are MS for mainspec, OS for offspec and DEL for delete, which will remove a previously sent and incorrect tell.
3. The final argument is a comment by the player. The comment should be kept as only letters and numbers to avoid formatting issues.

Examples of Valid Tells:

1. 1, OS
2. 2, MS, best in slot
3. 1, MS, if no one else needs

Once tells are collected, the Lootmaster may press the Close Loot button on his DLC Window and further press Show Loot to send the tells to the Officer window. Once everything is finished, the Lootmaster may press End Loot to clear DLC for the next mob!

Notes:

• All the loot tell arguments must be separated by COMMAS. Periods, slashes, spaces, etc. do not work. (Though spaces before and after commas are ignored)
• Announce Loot and Show Loot may be pressed multiple times to re-send the info, in case anyone missed it. This will not affect data collection.
• Only one mob may be done at a time. Make sure to End Loot before you start another mob or the data will be lost (example: Twin Valkyrs)
