MOD DESCRIPTION
This project began as a simple voice announcement for 'Death Grip' which was Scorpion from Mortal Kombat yelling, "Get Over Here!"
It has since grown by requests and suggestions to include a lot more than just one ability, and then grown to include more than just the Death Knight class.
Are you getting tired of hearing the /yells by Death Knights? I was, and figured it would be nice if they heard the Mortal Kombat sound instead of /yelling it. So that's why I began this mod. In the hopes the Death Knights would download it and stop spamming on the /yell channel.
But as they used it, they wanted the ability to broadcast on the /yell channel too... so I included it but it is off by default and gives warnings if you turn it on. It suggests using the /say channel instead.
This ability was wanted by Paladins also, not the Death Grip ability per-sa but the Mortal Kombat audio yell. So now, in v3.0, whenever a Paladin taunts a target to come over to him or her, it will play the same Mortal Kombat audio file that a Death Knight using Death Grip does.
Will include this option for Warrior taunts later on during the beta phase of v3.0.
When I first uploaded version 1 of this mod, to my amazement, many of you guys loved it and wanted more. It originally wasn't working for other languages until another author of another mod suggested I use spell IDs for the spells which basically eliminates the language barrier. That said, there are still some English words in the menu system; but with spell IDs, the menu system is still understood in by any language. I have pulled all the English words out and placed them into a language file just in case anyone wanted to translate them to other language... though, as mentioned, it isn't needed to understand the menu.
A suggestion here, a suggestion there lead to this mod being more than what it began as, and now has grown to require each Class having their own separate menu option. Which is what v3.0 is about.
All the sounds I still attempted to keep sounding Death Knight-ish regardless of Class. But if you absolutely hate a .mp3 file that is used, you can easily go into the add-on folder and replace the .mp3 file with whatever file you require to be used.
Since v3 has been completely re-coded, it's probably best to delete your v2 /GetOverHere/ folder before installing v3. It isn't required, but if you don't, you're just going to have a couple of old v2 files sitting there doing nothing. It won't hurt the operation of v3 though... but if you're like me, you'd probably delete the folder and re-install v3.
