Dominos is an action bar addon intended to do the following:
- Reuse as much standard blizzard action button code as possible.
- Contain a relatively minimal feature set
- Be easy to use
- Be stable
It includes the following features:
- 10 action bars, pet, class, menu, and bag bars. Each one has customizable settings for padding, spacing, columns, scale, and opacity.
- Customizable paging. You can switch pages on: action bar pages, modifier keys, forms, and targeting.
- Customizable show states. You can tell your bar under which macro options to show.
- Fading bars. You can set your bars to fade out to a certain opacity when not moused over.
- The ability to customize showing empty buttons or not
- Full button facade support
- Keybound support
- Sticky frames
- The ability to move buttons in combat
- A movable casting bar (optional)
- A movable roll frame (optional)
- A movable xp/reputation bar (optional)
- Configurable right click targeting
- Configurable self cast key settings
- Possess bar support
...and will probably not end up with the following:
- A stats bar
- A minimap bar
- True variable length bars
Here's how you use it:
- To see the current list of slash commands, type /dom ? or /dominos ?
- To open up the options menu, either go into interface options, or type /dom
- To move bars around, either go into the options menu and press the "Enter Config Mode" button, or type /dom lock
- To bind keys, enter binding mode via /kb or /keybound, or press the "Enter Binding Mode" button in the options menu.
...and this is why I wrote it:
- I have significantly less time to code now than I did previously. Dominos is intended to be easier to maintain.
- I wanted to see how much I could do while maintaining compatibility with the standard action button code.
- I'm not entirely happy with the direction I took with Bongos3. I added features that I do not see myself using personally, and thus feel that those features will be neglected and bug ridden.
- RedRange - Colors action buttons red when out of range
- OmniCC - Adds cooldown count text
- ButtonFacade - Allows you to change the look of the action, pet, and class buttons
- Inline Aura - Adds buff and debuff highlighting to action buttons

Roho Mon, 01 Sep 2008 23:06:16Sorry for my english. I have a big problem with Dominos. When i press button "Stealth"(Rogue) - the main panel of abilities varies on the stealth panel. If I press any figure on a stealth panel - 1,2,3,4 etc.: ability which is on the main panel is started and i can't start ability which is on a stealth panel. I can start them only click of a mouse, and it is very inconvenient. Help me, please! I want, that abilities on a stealth panel were started by figures(1,2,3,4 etc.).

Cutty Mon, 01 Sep 2008 20:41:12I love both your bar mods, but I have 1 simple problem. I've binded a few of my warrior skills with the shift key, and occasionally while I'm pvp'ing I tap shift and the mousewheel. This pages through my active bars and is very annoying sometimes. Is there any way I can change this or just remove it completely? I don't ever page through besides stances, and your mod does it automatically for me. Thanks in advance

Tuller Sun, 31 Aug 2008 17:28:48err, can you explain further?
Dominos should allow you to bind to every key that's not mouse button 1 or 2

ponderman Sun, 31 Aug 2008 10:34:03I realized today I can't use mouse buttons with bongos3. Will I be able to use mouse buttons with Dominos?

Tuller Sat, 30 Aug 2008 20:34:30Dominos should roughly equate to a Bongos2 replacement. The main "feature" will be that it will work with wow 3.0.
It lacks a movable minimap, out of range coloring, a gui for setting the number of actionbars to use compared to Bongos2, but has button facade support, showstate support, possess bar support, and should have a bit better performance in general.

spazure Fri, 29 Aug 2008 20:10:28Before I try this addon and spend 2 hours configuring my actionbars (okok only setting up the druid takes that long), I have (I hope) a quick question.
What are the feature differences between Dominos and Bongos2? I love Bongos2, and I'm really hesitant to switch to a new actionbar mod if it won't do everything I want it to.

Tuller Thu, 28 Aug 2008 15:41:15When I've tested the possess bar, it has been working. Make sure your Dominos version is up to date.
The minimap addon in that picture is minimapster, found on wowace.
Dominos includes a bar that can display experience or reputation, and you can switch quickly between them via clicking on the xp/rep bar.

zynix976 Thu, 28 Aug 2008 12:23:40okay, this is more of a question about the UI on the pic, what is the map addon, and, is there an option to make both a rep and an EXP bar, just like default bars?
