Change log
SHORT VERSION: Now you can type "/er show" to show error frame and "/er hide" to hide it again. Errors are still hidden by default.
Now slash commands are available to temporarily show or again hide the error messages that this addon is designed to hide.
Slash commands are following:**
- /error
- /eagle
- /eeror
- /er
any of that will show the error message frame.
Error message frame can then be again hidden by typing any of the following:**
- /error hide
- /eagle hide
- /eeror hide
- /er hide
This feature was added because sometimes something in wow is just not working as it should, and you don't understand why since you don't see the error message. So in that case now you can just simply temporarily show the error frame. Addon source code is still insignificantly small. Only 10 lines of code :)
Known caveats
Since blizzard quest objectives are also displayed in error frame, by hiding error frames blizzard quest objectives wont show as well. That means that you wont get a yellow message saying "Boars killed 3/4" when you kill the third boar for your quest. Quest tracker still works normally since it doesn't have anything to do with this addon, so with quest tracker turned on you shouldn't find this an issue at all.
It has also been reported that "it also hides Blizzard Raid warnings" however for me raid warnings work just fine, for example "/rw heal me quickly!" displays just as it should for me when I'm raid leader and I write it.
