EPGP Lootmaster
EPGP Lootmaster provides a nice GUI for distributing loot and GP to the raid.
It sends a popup and a message to all raid members with the question wether they want the loot or not and sends this response to the master looter. The ML gets a nice list of every raider's choices sorted by EP/GP (more info on EPGP here).

Whisper system
This mod nolonger requires everyone in your raid to install it! Raid members can now just whisper the master looter with a simple message:
/w masterlooter !epgp need/greed/pass [itemlink]
This, however, will not send the current equipment to the master looter ui. It's still strongly suggested that everyone installs the mod, but it's nolonger mandatory. The master looter, of course, still needs to install it ;)
Installation
Just copy the epgp_lootmaster and epgp_lootmaster_ml directories from the zipfile to your addons directory or use the Curse Installer. When you configure your addons in wow you'll get two entries:- EPGP LootMaster - Core: Everyone in raid needs to enable this.
- EPGP LootMaster - ML: Only Master Looter needs to enable this, most raiders will probably get dependency missing because EPGP isn't installed. This is no problem, just leave it disabled. The Master Looter however does need to install EPGP.
Config
/lm options for some basic options.- Auto announce threshold: sets what kind of item raid members automatically get to see.
- Auto looter: sets a raid members that will automatically receive BoE and BoU items below the threshold (for disenchantment or bank).
- Listen for incoming monitor updates: Enabling this will make your client listen from updates from the master looter. It will show you the exact same interface as the master looter. This way you could help deciding who gets the loot.
Use
Just install this mod on every raid member. Set someone up a master looter. As soon as the ML tries to loot something, epgp_lootmaster will detect it and will try to handle the distribution for you. epgp_lootmaster will also handle the GP distribution for you and should automatically disable the EPGP GP input popup. You can also manually disable this popup from the EPGP options panel.
/lm version or /lm versioncheck
This will show you an interface where you can see wether the members of your guild or raid have installed lootmaster and what version.

mackatack Wed, 21 Oct 2009 15:11:40Copied from the EPGPLootmaster page at curse.com:
Yes, numerous threads have been started on the EPGP forums about this. This is a major shortcoming of the EPGP system or the officer notes where the values are stored, really. Only ONE person should handle EP and GP in a raid or you will get this kind of troubles. Let me try to explain what happend:
Lets say raider 1 has 100 EP and 50 GP at the start of a raid and you have one person handling EP and another GP. The officer notes get updated every 10 secs (yes, omg!)
Raider 1 EPGP: 100,50 Leader 1 and Leader 2 have 100,50 for Raider 1 in their officer notes. Leader 1 awards 150 GP to Raider 1 Leader 1 now has 100,200 in his note, but this gets transmitted after 10 secs. Leader 2 still has 100,50 in his note for Raider 1 Leader 2 awards 100 EP to the raid, so adds that to Raider 1's local value Leader 2 writes 200,50 to the officer notes.
So you can see, if EPGP modifications are done by two different players within about 10 secs, they will overwrite one another's values. Therefore
!!WARNING!! ONLY LET ONE PERSON DISTRIBUTE EP AND GP IN A SINGLE RAID

Medvanis Sat, 19 Sep 2009 13:42:07Just last night I used version 3.6 and experienced similar behavior. Not sure what the percentage is, but several (5 or 6 people) in last night's raid got items that the addon reported, but at the end of the night we noticed their GP had not changed. Also, Is there some kind of interaction between this addon and the base EPGP mod? I use version 5.5.5 of that one and we use it to assign automatic hourly EP......

evilhop Sat, 12 Sep 2009 21:08:10Hello, I think there is a bug in the latest (0.3.57) version of EPGP Lootmaster. We have been using the mod for 9 months, and this is the first time we have noticed this behavior. I opened a ticked on epgp's site as well.
http://code.google.com/p/epgp/issues/detail?id=514&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Version%20Owner%20Summary%20Stars
Basically the mod is reporting that it is adding GP to someone, but it actually assigns the GP only 50% of the time. We are having to watch the officer notes closely and manually add the GP fairly often.
Thanks for making the mod, our guild quite enjoys using it.

Maddeathelf Thu, 20 Aug 2009 18:57:41Just tried it now. He typed in /ra with the window up and nothing appeared for him (as the ML) or me (as normal raid member monitoring), so it looks like it's being intercepted by lootmaster!

Maddeathelf Thu, 20 Aug 2009 11:08:48Thanks Mackatack
I've had anoother word, and it's not as I first thought.
It's not the focus that's being stolen. It's actually the filter for chat which isn't functioning as i'd expect. It would seem he's able to type normally into chat, but it's being intercepted.
What I don't know yet is if: a) Your latest patch fixes this... b) Other people in the raid can see what he's typing even though he can't.
I'll try and test this tonight and let you know ASAP what's occuring.

mackatack Wed, 19 Aug 2009 07:35:47@Maddeathelf, it shouldn't steal focus unless you click the manual GP override textbox, so it's not working as intended.

Maddeathelf Mon, 17 Aug 2009 09:52:55Cooeee
I'm not the master looter myself during raids, but the master looter is a lazy whiner who cba to post feedback!
Apparently the EPGP lootmaster window is stealing the focus when it appears, making it a pita to type in /ra.
Using the latest version of lootmaster and the latest version of EPGP. It's definately not the EPGP GP static popup causing this - as it's currently disabled for him.
If you can confirm it's not working as intended I'll try and get some more feedback and put in a ticket.
Thank you.

mackatack Sun, 28 Jun 2009 12:26:13@Avestamoon: Hehe, yeah it's what you said in your Edit. The autopasser only passes BoP items (so, excluded BoE etc) that the player cannot use at all. So plate on druids, Swords on Priests, Librams on Rogues, etc, etc, etc. It will never autopass an item the player could use, even if lower in type. Pallies will for example see all Cloth items etc. It also checks for Tier tokens with the "Classes: Paladin" string on it and auto passes for classes that do not match this string. The clients follow the instructions of the master looter. Recently some changes have been made to Rogues, who can start using 1 handed axes starting patch 3.2. So the master looter should always have the latest version of EPGPLootmaster and EPGP installed, to prevent auto passing of items the player could have used. (Again, only the master looter, your raiders can safely have slightly older versions)

Avestamoon Sat, 27 Jun 2009 18:27:20LOVE your addon. It solved many looting issues we were having in our guild. One thing is still awkward for us.... the AutoPass. I have been unable to find a way to modify those settings. We allow classes to roll on gear that might be lower than standard (e.g. a druid getting a cloth item) if it has better stats for their spec. Is there a way to turn off parts or all of the auto-pass?
Thank you for all your hard work in developing and maintain this awesome-ness.
EDIT: or do I mis-understand? Does it autopass on armor that is unusable only.. as in plate for a druid? If so, ignore my question altogether. :-)
