EPGP Lootmaster

EPGP Lootmaster provides a nice GUI for distributing loot and GP to the raid.

It sends a popup and a message to all raid members with the question wether they want the loot or not and sends this response to the master looter. The ML gets a nice list of every raider's choices sorted by EP/GP (more info on EPGP here).

Whisper system

This mod nolonger requires everyone in your raid to install it! Raid members can now just whisper the master looter with a simple message:

/w masterlooter !epgp need/greed/pass [itemlink]

This, however, will not send the current equipment to the master looter ui. It's still strongly suggested that everyone installs the mod, but it's nolonger mandatory. The master looter, of course, still needs to install it ;)

Installation

Just copy the epgp_lootmaster and epgp_lootmaster_ml directories from the zipfile to your addons directory or use the Curse Installer. When you configure your addons in wow you'll get two entries:

• EPGP LootMaster - Core: Everyone in raid needs to enable this.
• EPGP LootMaster - ML: Only Master Looter needs to enable this, most raiders will probably get dependency missing because EPGP isn't installed. This is no problem, just leave it disabled. The Master Looter however does need to install EPGP.

Config

/lm options for some basic options.

• Auto announce threshold: sets what kind of item raid members automatically get to see.
• Auto looter: sets a raid members that will automatically receive BoE and BoU items below the threshold (for disenchantment or bank).
• Listen for incoming monitor updates: Enabling this will make your client listen from updates from the master looter. It will show you the exact same interface as the master looter. This way you could help deciding who gets the loot.

Use

Just install this mod on every raid member. Set someone up a master looter. As soon as the ML tries to loot something, epgp_lootmaster will detect it and will try to handle the distribution for you. epgp_lootmaster will also handle the GP distribution for you and should automatically disable the EPGP GP input popup. You can also manually disable this popup from the EPGP options panel.

/lm version or /lm versioncheck

This will show you an interface where you can see wether the members of your guild or raid have installed lootmaster and what version.

  @Maddeathelf: 1/ i've added more checks to the loot events, try v0.3.31. Please make sure your master looter also updates his/her EPGP installation.

  2/ Atm: no, im currently working on making EPGPLootmaster an universal loot distributing system (as in; make it work with dkp etc). Perhaps i will implement a better system later to compare the current equipment against tokens and keys etc.

  Mackatack - two things!

  1) The other night we got an error on epgp.lua line 578 on calling lootmaster_ml.lua line 1271.

  Something to do with assert(type(name) == "string") in epgp.lua. Sorry I don't have more. I'll try and get a bugsac if you need it (it was someone else's error.)

  Whatever it did, we couldn't dish out the loot afterwards cause the mod exploded.

  2) Are you planning on adding stuff like "Heroic Key to the Focusing Iris" to your GetGearByINVTYPE function? It's a nothing really, but just wondered :)

  Ok thanks! Will test tonight in raid. Already made some changes to the item counter in v0.3.30, perhaps that'll do the trick. Will have to wait and see till tonight ;)

  It was 2 pairs of T7 Heroic shoulders. I click the first one and it linked it, when I click the second it saids its already been linked. After the first one was given out, I had to click the other one and the windows popped up again.

  Jiminimonka: Yes, it should really all have been handled from one table. How strange :( Can you remember if there were two individual lootslots or one slot with [item]x2 ? EPGPLM should be able to handle the first case without problems (it's however hard for me to test this coz there aren't many mobs that drop 2 or more of the same item in different lootslots :P). Let me know pls.

  Tonight we got a 2x same Token drop from a couple of bosses, and I had to link the second one after the first had been given out. I thought you had made it so they would both be put on the same table?

  @Ahlak: were you able to find the configuration setting for the offspec GP value? It's "Default offspec/greed GP" on the options screen.

  @Maddeathelf: pls try again with version v0.3.29 it's sending the messages to raid channel (so thats just one message to everyone). When alot of raid members do not have the mod installed monitors get really slow because the ML has to relay the choice back to everyone in raid. My advice: have v0.3.29 installed on everyone in the raid. You can check if this is the case using /lm version.

  Another tip: doubleclicking the titlebar on the monitor minimizes the window so you can continue clearing. GL
