EPGPLootmaster

16 - option to send custom text or notice with bid reply

What is the enhancement in mind?

The ability for a short message to be included with the need/greed/pass response, that would display on the master looter screen. To allow bidders to communicate "special circumstances" without the master looter having to check tells or vent comments.

Example A:

Need is selected, however the bidder wishes to convey. That if it is a bigger upgrade for someone else, they pass.

Example B:

Member is bidding on 2 or more items. They wish to communicate that item A is a higher need.

How should it look and feel?

This feature should not be encouraged to be used on every loot. Therefore I suggest that there be a small button or check box on the right side of the need/geed frame. The user would check/press this to enable a chat box to type a small note.

The Master looter frame would have an additional column that can display the note.

Please provide any additional information below.

This should be an optional function based on master looter setting (if possible).

If the chat message is not feasible, then the ability to flag the bid as having some special circumstances. This would allow the ML to contact or have someone contact the bidder on the details if that person would be the loot winner.

    implemented in v0.3.26

The main reason I suggest it be configurable rather then static, is I can see it being something that can potentially slow or complicate the loot process just as much as it can assist it.

What you described would be perfect, if a guild does not find it useful or if it complicated the process they can turn it off.

Would it be handy to make it configurable for the ML to accept comments on loot or not? This would be a config option on the config window that just enable/disables the textbox on the client popups.
