44 - Heroic Item monitoring fails
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. PewPew Boss in ToC Heroic (10 man. We haven't killed the 2 man heroic bosses, yet!)
2. Commence Looting boss
3. Users within the raid need / greed / pass
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normal raid members monitoring the loot cannot see what other users have done.
What version of the product are you using?
Latest!
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No Errors
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm assured the master looter was allowing monitoring. I'm also assured that 8 of the other 9 users with varying versions of the addon (from latest, to a couple of versions back) were unable to see what the rest of the raid did. Weird stuff. I'll get more details when we kill a 25 man boss (hopefully on Sunday) but thought i'd pre-empt the raid with a ticket now. No-one else seems to have reported it anywhere. Which is weird....

Maddeathelf Sep 12, 2009 at 12:09 UTC - 0 likesDone some further testing and it appears monitoring of heroic items isn't working for anyone in the raid but the LM.
Tokens etc are still working - it's just normal items with the "Heroic" tag on the tooltip. I guess this is something to do with the parsing of the tooltip you do for checking stuff like BoE / BoP / BoU and returning nil?
