Short on the parts of Epic Fail
CORE
Core is the hub that keeps all other Epic Fail parts together and also handles the options for Epic Fail.
LOOTMASTER
LootMaster is the part designed just for the Master Looter, it's passive until you loot a window that contains a item of the Rarity set in options or above and you are Master Looter in a RAID. (This part can be removed if you are never Master Looter, or should be at least)
SLAVE
LootSlave is the passive part used for bidding, this is a fairly straight forward affair, you see what Item is up for bidding, you bid or not, then it displays the winner + follow ups as well as the winning bid.
DKP
(Not yet released) DKP is for handing out DKP at the end of the raid, keeps track of who has been in the raid and has the ability to add modifiers to players that has for ex. earned extra DKP during the raid or gotten -dkp.
On the horizon
Adding the possibility to recognise ALT characters by adding the name of the Main Char in the public note.

![]()
This will show you the window above!
- Enable sound is to enable/disable Epic Fail from using sounds on bid etc.
- The first slider is for verbose mode, NORMAL is recommened, MUTE works and will suppress all notifications, DEBUG is not to be used during real RAID and breaks functionality intentionally.
- Enable MasterLoot Module currently only shows if you have the module, later on it will be load on demand probably.
- Second slider sets the threshold of the loot rarity that the add-on will handle, it goes from Common to Heirloom as you can see and above shows the current setting. Common how ever will not be handled by Blizzard Master Looter setting which reacts to Uncommon and above only, so common is more for testing the add-on out, also the reason for it to go up to Heirloom is to make sure that every higher item is covers, it can also be used to "turn off" reaction on looting since Heirlooms doesn't drop.
- Enable Slaveloot only shows if SlaveLoot is present.
- The Button "Addon check" will ping the raid and ask if they have the addon and what version, this is to make sure that everyone has it, if timer ends (you get a small timer bar in the middle of the screen) and there is no out put then everyone has it, it only announces on people missing the addon or if you got an old version.
THE LOOT MASTER WINDOW
On looting a mob/chest that contains an item that has an itemRarity equal or above to what your setting in options says and you are in a RAID and Master Looter the Loot Master Window will appear.
