The first is the ui item in the right corner, which is scheduled to be hideable in then next release (for which I'm looking forward to). The second is the fact that its limited to 4 bars (I read adding new bars is intended by v1.0). However the fact that this is the only action bar plug in that remotely seems to do what I'm looking for, even the need for more button real estate doesn't seem like a huge deal...

Its definitely the only mod for people who simply want to place more action bars on screen that behave like the original bars do...
Wed, 23 Sep 2009 19:29:37 +0000 http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/extra-bar/?comment=2 http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/extra-bar/?comment=2 no-reply@curseforge.com (torgobob) Comment #1 http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/extra-bar/?comment=1
Unfortunately, ExtraBars isn't treated so well by patches; its settings get restored to defaults. This means that every patch day I have about 20 characters for whom I have to edit, move, and restore 4 individual bars... which makes it more trouble than it's worth. (Even if I could remember what skills I had on each bar.)

I'd suggest a way to maintain user settings between patches (size, position, orientation, contents) and also one which would let users copy another chara's settings for themselves, for size and position at least.
Wed, 23 Sep 2009 02:11:58 +0000 http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/extra-bar/?comment=1 http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/extra-bar/?comment=1 no-reply@curseforge.com (ClemSnide)
