Face Mauler Zwei is a feral dps priority suggester. Currently the project is under a full code rewrite to allow it more update-ability without cause major code conflicts. It is also getting split into sections to allow errors to be found and fixed faster. Also, I am splitting the mathematical computations from the suggestion of abilities as this should allow even more manage-able fixes. This rewrite is closer coding to the project I prior managed, Face Melter. This allows me to have many avenues of mods and the ability to add more new functions without needing to enable them all at once. Also, this will allow the user a much more enriched environment to which they can modify settings based upon their own gear or new unfound data.

The project has fallen off schedule by about 2 weeks worth of coding. A ton of personal stuff in my life has forced me to take time away from the project to get it all in order. The basic functions are at 65% with advanced functions at 45%. Two weeks more and I should have basic functions to about 85-90% without lua errors for basic testing. I have gone through extensive recoding and the project is a 100% from top to bottom recode. EVERYTHING in this is disable-able, relevant and useful, as well as is taking into consideration future needs and adjustments of the druid community. I am watching closely to the future changes to everything coming 4.3 patch and should be able to add these features without any issue. Plus, I have made it so the config file resets upon a newer version of FMZ. the code base is MUCH larger but will be no where near the way feral by night went as Nightcrowler put a lot of good stuff in his addon but put too much into it and the code base was unruly and bloated. The addon is similar to a few projects I have modded for myself or had been an author of. These addons it is similar to is Face Melter, Face Mauler, Serious Help in Timing, and Elementarist. I have also split the code base to organize it even more so that errors can easily be traced and fixed quickly. FMZ will look for anything relevant to its decision making and will recheck this many times during its function. I will constantly be refixing these and will also add support to include other classes as this is the stepping stone to dme, the child of this project for all classes. The damage rotation is in a file on its own so that I can plan for this to mutate to that project.

Cystacae Aug 20, 2010 at 15:57 UTC - 0 likesI am working on a stable code rewrite to add in multiple features that I felt were a necessity to add for more modifications available to the end user. This will not add extra visual bloat but allow suggestion behavior based upon the end user's suggestions. By default this will be set for a very basic but successful algorithm however this will also allow you to fine tune your selections. I am also adding directional support as this is an issue even I have been wanting to fix for a while.
