5 - Three 'bugs'
I am a long time happy user of Fishing Buddy, but since one of the latest updates the Extravaganza Timer isn't working anymore, no matter what settings I use. With a previous version it could sometimes be solved with logging out and back in again, but now it seems to work never.
I am glad that the Weather Beaten Fishing Hat now works as lure, so I thought to use the option "Always Lure" in Northrend, but for some reason it isn't working as it should: most of the times it only attaches lure after the second catch, unless a miss-catch happens earlier.
In the version history I could not find when this is added, but since a few there is now a sound when you are near a fishin pool to make you aware of its presence. Since this is almost the same as the 'bob' sound of the fishing bobber, I find this very anoying. Especially when this sound keeps occuring even when you are already fishing in the pool. And this is even harder when you are not the only one fishing the pool! Why isn't there an option to turn this future off (for people like me that doesn't want it, and characters with "Find Fish" that actually don't need it)? I.e., there are three options to think about: "on", "off" and "auto" (only play a sound at first occurence after equip).
I hope these notifications will help to make an even better FishingBuddy then it now already is ;)

Sutorix Sat, 26 Dec 2009 04:20:13Now that the hat has no cooldown, this is working as desired.

Sutorix Fri, 19 Jun 2009 05:03:11I think I've already fixed the Extravaganza bug, but I'll play with it some more this Sunday (family willing :-)
It can't use the fishing hat right away, it has a cool down when you first equip it.
The sound is from Blizz, unfortunately I haven't found a way to make it stop :-(
