photekk Mon, 13 Jul 2009 15:05:29Just wanted to drop a line about the sound bug (sound effects muted when silent mode turned on) it seems 90% fixed. I say that because it will be fine for like 4 hours, then perform a sort, silence the effects and never return the sound.
It's been doing this consistently - it's much better than it was before but thought I'd let you know the bug is still there.

crzykidd Sun, 12 Jul 2009 01:22:28The sorting in 3.0.4.4 is working well. I have sorted 6 toons, and 6 GB tabs with no issues that I can see. The sorting is a little different now, but for the most part looks good. I am going to play with families a little later as it looks like that changed some..

photekk Sat, 11 Jul 2009 22:46:16I reverted to the 4.2
Hrm.. really like the way 4.2 sorts. You should keep this file up if you are premanently changing to the new methods
I'm sure I can set up "sub-types" or w/e with the new versions and get it to work fine but it's gonna require quite a bit of configuring I would assume

crzykidd Sat, 11 Jul 2009 16:25:13Yes I just disabled all other addons and still won't sort the guildbank. I rolled back to 3.0.4.2, but have since tried every version that supported GB sorting.

what you could try is to use "/genie inspect [Runecloth]" on both stacks and then look at the sortstring (should be the same). if not, please post them (creating a ticket) since that whould mean there's a bigger problem.

adjo Sat, 11 Jul 2009 15:38:43@sorting slightly different
that's true, there was a change with the type/subtype sorting. previously the where sorted by name, now they are sorted like the auction house does
@crzykidd
did you try to disable all other addons, maybe it's another addon that is causing the problem?
@photekk
to which version did you revert? 4.2? or an older 4.3 beta?

photekk Sat, 11 Jul 2009 14:09:03Hmm.. ok beta3 hasn't had any errors for me yet, however I'm not sure it's actually sorting like it used to. I've ran /genie work about 6 times now and it can't get 2 stacks of Runecloth side by side (where as in the last beta I was using that was never a problem - all like items were always side by side) This goes for other items as well, doesn't seem to have any order anymore
EDIT: I just reverted back to the older beta version and the Runecloth along with every other item are perfectly sorted, so it must be this beta3
