V3.0.2.5 / Basic documentation
Sorting rank
You want to change the sorting order? no problem :)
Commands
Before you begin, here's the list of available commands:
- /genie rank ... shows the current settings
- /genie rank default ... use the default settings
- /genie rank reset ... reset all ranks (if you want a clean start)
- /genie rank <criterion> <rank> ... set the rank of a criterion
- /genie rank <criterion> 0 ... disable a criterion (0 = Null, not captial O)
Setting rank
Let's begin. I will show you this with only two criteria (there are 16)
/genie rank
ItemRanking
1. Soulbound 2. Quality
Disabled
Presume that i want to have items sorted first by Quality, i just could type
/genie rank quality 1 Quality updated.
/genie rank
ItemRanking
1. Quality
Disabled
Soulbound
Note that 'Soulbound' has been disabled, because 'Quality' has taken his place. If i don't care how items will be sorted after 'Quality' then i'm finished or i could type
/genie rank soulbound 2 Soulbound updated.
Now i have changed the sorting order.
Disabling criterion
/genie rank <criterion> 0
It's that simple
Notes
In the example above i could also set Quality to 50 and Soulbound to 100, the result would be the same
I know that you have to do much typing if you want to deeply change the sorting order - that's why an interface will be developed as soon as all features are working. In the meantime i suggest you to simply edit the sourcefile directly, it is located under WTF/Account/<YourAccountName>/SavedVariables/Genie.lua
