Genie

10 - Autofill incomplete stacks between different bagtypes

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Would be nice(if possible and in line of your goal about this addon) if it could fill incomplete stacks in bank/guildbank from items in bags, so that we don't have to search and drag and drop items over the incomplete stacks in bank/guildbank to fill them.

Please provide any additional information below.

"How it works" depends on the context. Personally, managing my bags is not a big deal, I have control of that. Managing the Guild Bank is the true magic of this addon, to me. As a GM, our guild bank is constantly filled with all sorts of bizarre items, incomplete stacks in different tabs, etc.

Is the addon capable of moving between tabs without me manually doing it?

In this context, needing a specific family would be hard since there is the potential to have thousands of different items, that all require stacking.

I would like the ability to have it move all of a certain type of item to my bags, from the guild bank. For instance, take out all the grey items noobs put in there. I tried doing this, by making a junk family, and telling it to refill my bags, but either I did it wrong (no documentation yet, and it wasn't entirely clear/intuitive), or it's not yet functional.

    Available with r236+
    Things that aren't finalized yet

    • Naming
    • When to show the options for it

needless to say that i would appreciate some feedback

    Current naming:

    Refill
(could also be restock, fill, stock, etc.)
    Transfer
Number of full stacks Genie should try to create within the specified group
    Leave
Minimum number of stacks Genie should leave "behind". Will result in number-1 full stacks plus one that maybe partial because of filling up the target group

this is how this might work

    • create a family
    • add some items
    • (new) activate <bagtype1> to <bagtype2> stacking
    • (new) limit the stacks in the target container
    <bagtype>
    bag, bank or guildbank
<bt1> and <bt2> must be different
