6 - Unable to click (interact with) certain bank items
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open bank inventory
2. Allow it to autosort using selectionsort (haven't tested if it still occurs with other algorithms)
3. Mouseover and attempt to "drag" items in bank -- eventually, I'll come across a line of ~12 or so items that I cannot move/click/interact with other than highlight
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect the items to act as normal, be able to move them to my inventory, ie right click them, or move them around the bank inven
Instead I cannot click or interact with them in any capacity other than highlight
What version of the product are you using?
Latest - the 3.0.3.1 beta3
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No error came up
Please provide any additional information below.
Was able to reproduce on several chars - the line of items this last time was the very bottom line of items after it was sorted. Was 12 items, ranging from blue, green and white items

adjo Sat, 04 Jul 2009 10:08:27i'm gonna close this as invalid, as it seems to be a problem combuctor has. if you (or someone else) has new info i might reopen it.

photekk Fri, 03 Jul 2009 23:47:45Yeah they aren't greyed it's weird - it almost like it thinks you aren't at your bank, and are viewing items from afar via that option in Combuctor
Yeah weird - well selecting a new tab and going back isn't too much of a hassle - def. not big enough of a hassle to make me ditch Genie :)
So must be a Combuctor related bug huh

adjo Fri, 03 Jul 2009 17:50:39I finally got a similar bug. Genie has finished and i can't drag items (although they aren't grayed out). Selecting another tab and than going back resolves this for me.
Maybe Genie is to fast for Combuctor ;)

adjo Fri, 03 Jul 2009 15:32:10@debug output: it's posted to the default chat @bug: i'll look further into this, maybe i have overlooked something

photekk Fri, 03 Jul 2009 14:56:48Ok I figured out how to fix the bug without having to reload anything. I noticed that when it was bugging out the items acted identical to when you view items that are on a different chars bank (or inven) -- Combuctor has this feature and I'm not sure if you were using it, which may be why it didn't bug for you.
So I figured maybe it's thinking those items, that I cannot interact with, are for some reason not in my actual bank or I'm not at my bank etc - so I just opened up an alts bank inven, then re-opened my bank inven, and there it was the bugged items were gone
This allows me to have a kind of work around but the bug is still there .. looks like it's probably with Combuctor then? Although I never had this error before Genie.. hm something must be interfering I don't know, maybe not a bug necessarily

photekk Fri, 03 Jul 2009 14:23:18Hm. where is the debug output supposed to reading to ? I made those changes and I don't see any debug report

adjo Fri, 03 Jul 2009 06:27:02i tried opening and closing the bank several times, without and with interrupting Genie and it doesn't bug...
i started by letting Genie sort the bank completely, then i removed several items (in order to give Genie something to do) and then openend and closed the bank repeatedly. I saw Genie starting to work (grayed items all over), interupted it, etc after 2/3 times Genie had finished and the bank was again sorted without items blocked.
what you can try is: edit the file /interface/genie/genie.lua at line 33 making it look like:
This will enable the debug output. Beside everything else you should see something like this
If the debug output doesn't stop (the above message should be the last you see), please tell me. Otherwise i don't think this is a Genie related bug.

adjo Fri, 03 Jul 2009 05:58:58there's no need to delete the genie.lua, it looks fine.

photekk Thu, 02 Jul 2009 23:02:36Ok just noticed something when this glitched (btw I disabled the Gatherer addon to Combuctor and still is doing this)
The items that glitched were the items that after the second time it sorted my bank items were directly after the items that were rotated around a 2nd time.
In other words, I opened the bank - it sorted all the items
I then opened right after again (because it wasn't bugged and I trying to reproduce it), it sorted only a couple lines of items this time --- The items that were glitched were every item (about 45) directly AFTER those items that were moved around that 2nd time.
Hope this helps
Maybe if I can disable this 2nd sorting process it would fix it I don't know

photekk Thu, 02 Jul 2009 22:54:31Hm... trying to think of things that would be unique .. I did install a "Gatherer" addon for Combuctor that adds a Gatherer tab - gonna try uninstalling that maybe.
Also, should I try deleting my Genie.lua (and maybe the Genie.lua.bak) file? And try running it fresh .. are those the only saved variables for Genie
