99 - Guild Bank not sorting correctly
I've tried several different versions of Genie, 4.2_beta, 4.2_gamma, and r287, they all have the same issue. When trying to sort the equipment tap in my Guild Bank, it will begin to sort, say it has "done what you requested", but the items are not in the right order, and subsequent sorting attempts yield the same results. There are no errors coming from Genie, or any other addon. It may very well just be Genie working too fast for the Guild Bank, I used to use the delay options in previous releases, but that option seems to have been removed. I tried 4.1_beta which does have the delay options, and it works fine, but even with both delays set to "0", 4.1_beta will correctly sort the tab, although it takes several times to sort completely. I also tried sorting the tab with 4.1_beta, then installing 4.2_gamma, moving a couple items out of place, then trying to sort with 4.2_gamma, and the tab would get progressively more jumbled every time I ran the sort. Also I tried disabling all other addons and it made no difference.

roguez4lifez Aug 19, 2011 at 22:40 UTC - 0 likesI tried r294 and Genie 4.2a with all other addons removed, but even on a highly unsorted guildbank tab, it just seems to move a few random pieces then it freezes, it doesn't even print a finished message to the chat window. Genie 4.1_beta is still working great though so I can't really complain.

roguez4lifez Mar 25, 2011 at 01:32 UTC - 0 likesOkay, first screenshot is the guildbank after sorting it with 4.1_beta. I then installed 4.2_gamma and did the following. In the second screenshot I switched 1 item, then ran a sort, and took screenshot 3. I then ran the sort twice more, and took screenshots 4 and 5. After that I manually put everything back in place, using screenshot 1 as a reference, then switched 3 different items, and took screenshot 6. After that I ran the sort, and took screenshot 7. The strangest thing was, after running the sort, if I put the items where they were before the sort, and ran the sort again, Genie sort the items to the same, albeit wrong, position that it did the first time I sorted. To make reading the screenshots easier, I put red/orange boxes around the slots I moved, and blue boxes around the ones that Genie moved. Hope this helps.
