GoH v6 in the making
It's coming . . .
Re-designing GUI Menu to represent a spell book.
Bookmarks at the bottom will be to switch to your different classes (if plugin for class installed), as well as your main GoH Settings Menu.
Each Class page will be separated into sub sections based on Spec, as well as a General all purpose sub section page, and a page for talent based spells. (You'll notice in the example picture).
So far, just the menu GUI layout is being coded and designed.
A: Because there is a bug somewhere in the menu system, where sometimes, a class menu from v5 will just vanish. Not sure where it is or why it is, so figured we'll just redesign it all. And since Blizzard has a habit of breaking everything upon each expansion, or removing spells, changing spells, etc and so on, we figured we'd just re-code the lot.
A: Maziel has found out that he can log in to the PTR for free, and since Maziel has cancelled his WoW subscription, he thought he wasn't able to be able to assist djghosts. But since he has discovered that he can log in to the PTR for nothing, he is able to assist in the rebuilding and recoding of Get Over Here! (for a sixth time)
A: No. Not one user has. One author has, djghost... but this was more to try and sway the original author to return to help code the fifth version, and it worked. But besides djghost, who is actually taking over this project, not one single user has ever donated in all of six years of creating this add-on. (Just thought I would share that bit of information with you, in case anyone thinks that they might be able to make a living from learning to code an addon for World of Warcraft. You can't. Users want everything for nothing.) Some people will say, 'Well I'm not going to donate now that you have said that!", my reply is, "Pfft, nothing has changed then."
