Darceys Global Positioning System (GPS) Version 4.x
What it does:
Enter the coordinates you want to go to and my mod will point you in the right direction and tell you how far away you are from the target.
Latest News/fixes:
- After patch 3.x certain things changed, but worked out how to get players direction into radians once again
USAGE:
- Drag the arrow around with right click drag (I was finding I was dragging it around in battle sometimes with left click)
- Type /dgps setarrowscale:80 - sets the arrow scale to 80%
- Type /dgps setinputscale:200 - sets the input windows scale to 200%
- Type /dgps hide - will hide the mod (use the draggable button though if i was you its easier)
- Type /dgps show - will show the mod (use the draggable button though if i was you its easier)
Usage guide as requested below:
- Right click on the sword/arrow and drag to a desired location of your screen.
- Left click and drag the "Input Window" (left click on its sides or in a blank space within it and drag mouse) to a desired location of your screen.
- Find a quest in your quest log (press L)
- Goto "http://www.allforthecode.co.uk/wow/search" and type the name of your quest, item or mob name into the top input box and press search
- Find the coordinates on the website for your quest, item or mob and then return to wow.
(Windows machines press ALT TAB to switch from program to program without closing WOW - I personally run wow in window mode, but that's due to my TFT) - Left click in the "input field" that says "Enter info' here 1" and type the name of the quest, item or mob you are looking for (quick note entry only)
- Now in the 2nd box to the right of the Input note box enter the first coordinate (this does allow point numbers)
- Now in the 3rd box type the next coordinate (so now you have entered the quick note name, X coordinate and Y coordinate)
NOTE: Press enter to confirm your change and exit the input mode on each input box
FEATURE NOTE: Press tab to tab to next input box. - Now the tick box at the end should be ticked - signifying that this row of coordinates is active. When this is done the arrow/sword will point you in the direction to the coordinates.
The mod/addon allows the input of up to 5 sets of coordinates, you will see a slider bar tightly packed into the top right of the mod, slide the notch on this from the left to the right to see more input fields.
Let me know if you have any suggestions or if you like the mod :)
Happy leveling and have fun :)
