I have got the achievement for over 50 mounts. As such there is now a lot of mounts for the mod to choose from when i want to mount up. Some of them i care about more than others. I was wondering if its possible to work in some groups to which mounts could be assigned and then have two random type rolls. One for the group and one for the mount in the group.
i.e.
Group 1 contains mounts A,B, and is set at 60%
Group 2 contains mounts C,D,E and is set at 25%
Group 3 contains mounts F,G,H,J,K and is set at 15%
when i press my mount key bind the following would happen
1 random roll would pick the group with the theory being that group 1 is picked 60 times out of 100.
and the 2nd roll would pick either A or B to mount up.
This enables a certain amount of randomness, but allows me to ride (yeah ok showoff) my more unique mounts most of the time.
Note.
Just before posting this i did a search and noticed this ticket - 46 - For WotLK, add a UI for selecting mounts. It seems similar so if you believe it is please close and sorry to cause any overhead on your behalf.

tiker Nov 21, 2008 at 14:19 UTC - 0 likesTicket 46 is just to create an interface to mark mounts as zone / global favorites. It doesn't include anything else.
Ticket 129 is closer as it randomizes between mount type (horse, ram, kodo, etc.) then randomizes for color. I can add this to the list of possible options but as in ticket 129 I'll need a druid to test to make sure I don't break shape forms in the process.
