3 - Icon Support
What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
This mod should support icons so that it can be displayed with the Center Icon indicator.
Please provide any additional information below.
I was completely expecting to be able to tie this status to my Center Icon indicator in Grid, but it doesn't appear to show anything...only shows up on text & color indicators...which is fine for say the border, but I would like to see what the specific debuff is that is applied and even more usefully, the stack count & approximate duration remaining via the "icon cooldown frame" associated w/ the Center Icon. This is important in helping me prioritize & time my heals.
If this feature is already implemented, my apologies...I only tested it in a duel situation against a rogue using Wound Poison IV...and only using the center icon, I didn't try side or corner icons.

Pyro76 Mon, 09 Mar 2009 23:59:39It's not really the actual icon that I'm interested in...it's the stack count and time remaining that are most important.
I put important debuffs as the center icon so I know how much time is left before I can heal or exactly how much healing reduction I have to suffer with...say if it's 4 stacks of Shroud of Darkness in VH, I wouldn't bother healing, but if it's only 1, I can heal a bit. And if there's 1-2 sec left on whatever debuff, I can start pre-casting a big heal.
I find the center icon useful for big in-your-face do something NOW things like Frost Blast in Kel'thuzad...you have max 4 sec. to heal them or they're dead.

Phanx Sat, 28 Feb 2009 03:23:42Eh, I can't see how obscuring the frame with an icon would be helpful (if you don't know which debuff is applied in the current encounter, it's not likely you'll recognize the icon either), but it is supported by the API and doesn't require much extra code, so look for it soon.
