    First off let's see if I can give you enough information fix this yourself. You are trying to change the channel that your guild uses for guild2guild, and possibly add a whitelist of guilds.

    Do that by: Opening the guild information tab, on the guild pane in the social window Entering a text string like:

    <G2G;C:channel;A:Guild1,Guild2;>

    where channel is the channel you want to use guild1, and guild2 are both guilds in the alliance (it doesn't have to include your own guild, but it makes copying and pasting the string easier)

    You can also add a password there by typing P:password; in that block if you are really paranoid.

    Log out and log back in - guild2guild reads this information when you first log in.

    Now type g2g report - you should see that the channel name is your new one, and that the allied guilds list is populated. If its working then do the same thing in the other guild.

    If you run into trouble along the way, I'm happy to help you debug - here's what I need you to do.

    1. Log in to wow with your character that is using guild2guild 3. Open the 'Social Pane' 4. Go to the 'guild tab' and open the 'guild information' window 5. find the string <G2G: ...> and copy it down - please include it with your response. 6. in a chat window type /g2g report 7. next type /g2g stackdump 8. log out 8. send me a copy of the file C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\DURTHOS\Proudmoore\Durthos\SavedVariables\Guild2Guild.lua (obviously the account name and character name will be yours)

    And thanks for your quick response. What is the white list and where is it kept? How do I view it and mod it?

    You are correct that I was in error about the "out of date" msg. thx and sry. Still, the instructions say:

    You can limit the guilds that you can connect to using a white list, and automatically set the channel and password by adding a string like: <G2G;C:channel;P:secret;A:Guild1,Guild2;> to your guild information (through the guild options menu). Where channel is the name of the channel you want guild2guild to use to coordinate relays, password is the password for that channel, and Guild1 and Guild2 are the names of two or more guilds that you would like to allow to connect to this one.

    I don't understand where I add this string? Can you post a pic of the screen? Is this something I type using the slash command "/" ?

    7.5.4 isn't showing as out of date for me - can you double check that you have it installed correctly?

    As mentioned in my comments on the add-on page I actually meant the guild information menu.

    You should definitely change the channel you are using, and possibly use the whitelist feature as well.
