Hermes

Hermes tracks your raid's cooldowns, and displays them using configurable buttons or bars. What's unique about Hermes is it's ability to tell you who "does" and "does not" have a particular cooldown available. If you're a raid leader, healer, tank or anyone who has to coordinate cooldowns, you'll appreciate the approach Hermes takes.

Hermes also tracks cooldowns of non Hermes users using it's Spell Monitor feature.

Release v2.4.32 Notes

This release is a much more stable release for the 5.0 Mists of Pandaria. I've refactored a lot of the UI code so that managing the spell list requirements and adjustments can be done via the user interface.

Important: I would highly recommend that you start fresh with this addon by doing two things:

Open the Hermes configuration and go to the "Maintenance" tab. Click both "Show >>" buttons and add in any new spells that are not in your inventory and also hit the "Full Reset" button for the Spell Monitor.
Open the Hermes configuration and go to the "Profiles" tab. Click the "Reset Profile".

Keep in mind, that I'm aware neither of these options are required and certainly aren't the most efficient way to handle this, but it will help get your addon working with the latest code available.

Release v2.3 Notes

This release includes significant changes since v2.2.

If upgrading from v2.2 or earlier, you will lose your existing container setup.

Hey I would like to do two separate containers:

one container should only include Raidcooldowns like Barrier the other one should only include external tank cooldowns like pain suppression.

I am able to create the second one. however I am not able to create the first container because the external cooldown also need to be enabled in container 1 so that they work for 2?

any solutions to this problem?

Have you tryed out Hermes LightUI. Its more like oRA3 but it has Bars and you can make a border :)
Only have to replace it with Hermes-UI folder and load outdated addon or update toc file

Hi! I've got strange thing. There is no lua error, but when I have Hermes active, I cant use or switch equipment sets.

I just removed the comparison. It's all about lazyness at this point. I don't want to go back and test all those addons :)

no worries, btw ora3 does account for glyphs, part of the reason it's sync based, cause of that api limitation. as much as i hate addon traffic of it all. i wish there was an api for glyphs, cause it's hindered me doing much with glyphs on DBM-ST :\

I didn't intend to compare Hermes to everything oRA3 does, just it's Cooldown window. There are a lot of people out there who use oRA3 almost entirely for that feature alone.

My apologies if you or anyone else feels misled by my comparison.

In regard to performance, it's very difficult to be "fair" so I did my best to be objective and not comment if I wasn't confident I could explain my results. In the case of oRA3, i would be impossible to make a "reasonable" comparison because, as you said, it does a lot of other things.

Here are some statistics I took that show a comparson of Hermes messages and a few other addons including oRA3. Note that there were 12 Hermes users, and 5 oRA3 users:
