Hix: Interrupt Announcer
Hix: Interrupt Announcer is a lightweight addon that announces to party or raid when you interrupt an ability. The addon is disabled in Battlegrounds and WorldPVP zones to prevent spam, however it does work in Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. To keep the addon small and fast there is no customisability; this is to maintain consistency and neatness when multiple players use this addon in a party or raiding environment.

Chat announce format

Interrupt ability - [Spell link of interrupted ability] (Name of interrupted target)
Counterspell - [Frostbolt] (Hix)

Reason for creation
Hix: Interrupt Announcer was initially created when a guildie asked if I could create an announcer. After a few more asked for the addon I decided to evolve it fully. It's been a few months now and to help users update it easily I decided to move it to a Curse project.

Problems/Work Arounds
There are currently no definitive problems. That said the addon only picks up on interrupts/silences, and not stuns, etc.

Reporting
This addon is very basic. I don't foresee any problems but please do leave a comment behind or a ticket via curse if you find an issue; your help is welcomed.

Suggestions
Please also feel free to leave behind suggestions and ideas that you think should be incorporated into/removed from this addon and I shall consider any that seem appropriate. I have no intention to add options for channel output as I and my guild prefer the consistency and the simplicity. Suggestions can be left in the comments or via the ticket system.

Pet interrupts are recorded yes, as for that specific case I am not sure. If the pet's interrupt counts as an interrupt via the combat log then yes it will we announced :).

will hix announce warlock fel pup spell lock? cause i've tried multiple spell interrupt addons and none show spell lock interrupts.

To make the addon work outside of groups (solo play) is a much larger edit however.

Hmm I was lookin for a good interrupt announcer I'll check this one out.
