You're really the first person I've heard having this issue, and I use this addon all the time myself and have never seen anything like this.

Does this also happen if you disable all your addons besides Lua Browser?

    Yes, that's correct.

"/lb code _G" works but "/lb filter <something>" locks it up?

/lb code _G takes a little bit (less than a second) to appear, but it works.

    The tooltip says:
    Data Type Count
    number 901
    string 11257
    userdata 2
    table 464
    boolean 16
    widget 35425
    function 6551

I have an ASUS G51JX-X1 laptop
    Intel Core i7 CPU Q720 @ 1.60GHz (4 physical cores, 8 virtual with hyperthreading)
    4GB RAM
    64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M 1GB RAM

Applying a fliter to _G does take a little while, but it shouldn't lock up your system.

Can you make Lua Browser show everything under _G without any lockup? "/lb code _G"
If so, hold the mouse of the text in the topright corner and report what the tooltip says.

Also what kind of computer do you have?
