15 - World Marker Taint Error
Hi there,
we already talked about my problem over at curse. I did as you asked to creat a taint.log unfourtunately the taint.log would overwrite itself every day when I am playing. So now I did it that way that I made a new file and copied the messages I found in the taint.log of that day in that file to give you a few more message overviews.
Will upload the file with that ticket.
Greetings, Rhynox.

Rhynox Feb 15, 2011 at 16:54 UTC - 0 likesHi Neer, too bad, I was hoping Blizzard would fix this problem in 4.0.6+ but so far it looks like the error is still there. Did some Research too, there is a whole bunch of Addons (e.g. Recount, Xperl, Mapster and so on) that intefere with the World Markers. I am wondering if Blizzard is aware of this bug.

neer Feb 06, 2011 at 18:20 UTC - 0 likesI've done a lot of additional research on this issue, and unfortunately, there is not a fix currently. It is not really anything that any one add-on is at fault, but the way in which blizzard has implemented the world markers that causes the problem. My current recommendation is to not use the world markers built into LuckyCharms2 but to use the blizzard raid frame or to create your own macros and use it that way.
I will keep an eye out for a permanent fix and keep this ticket going.

Rhynox Feb 06, 2011 at 14:23 UTC - 0 likesHi again, will keep on testing. So far, I disabled Mapster and kept Armory running and did a few instances. Right now, no error showed up and I could place World Markers everywhere (disco-fever :D). Looks like I need to get a new Map-Addon, sigh. Will keep you up to date if I find something new.
Greetz, Rhynox.

neer Feb 03, 2011 at 11:49 UTC - 0 likesI noticed one of the errors was Mapster, I have had many reports that mapster is not functioning properly / interfering with the macro for the world markers. I would try to disable mapster and armory and see if the error goes away completely. My main tank in my guild has this same problem with mapster and as soon as he disables it, everything is fine is Azeroth.
Please let me know the results of the testing.
Thanks, Neer
