174 - Same Profile for Multiple(all?) Chars
I dont want to configure LUI for each of my chars, so i would like to be able to use one "default" profile in lui that is used by all my chars.
but it can be set as the "create new profile" and "use existing profile" are grayed out (disabled).
until now i configured lui one time and used the "copy profile" function, but this sucks as i have to re-copy it for every char, and often i simply forget to do so.
I would like to know, if there is a plan, to reenable create and use exisitng profile features, or if i have to code a workarround/hack for myself enabling using 1 profile for all?
and if its planed, an average ETA would be really cool
thanks in advance

We first need to finish moving all the modules over to namespaces (there are only a few left). After that we will look into rewriting the installation process but it could take some time since that will most likely include coming up with formulas to determine positioning based on resolution (something that wasn't handled well the first time).

chaoslux Dec 24, 2011 at 07:28 UTC - 0 likesThis is something that we want to touch upon and include when we go back and redo the installation process. But there is alot of background changes to the code that needs to be done first to get there.
