43 - Permanent Name and Icon for Bars when using multi-proc items (DBW)
I use Deathbringer's Will, a trinket which can proc three different spells.
I know I can track all those with commas but the problem is, that it shows the different spell names and icons. Would it be possible to set a fix icon and name for the bars?

However, it has been suggested that the override name have the same comma-delimited powers that the "aura to watch" has, so that if the second item in the list is what triggered the bar to become active, then the second override (if present) will be used. I like this suggestion, so am leaving this ticket open.

Twoboxer Jul 07, 2010 at 08:22 UTC - 0 likesAs posted elsewhere, this feature would also allow "Tricks of the Trade" to become "ToT" saving screen space. While box-sizing allows for truncation, for those who use NTK as a buff tracker it would allow "Greater Blessing of Kings" and "Greater Blessing of Might" to become just Kings and Might, still distinguishable, yet saving 20 characters.

lieandswell Apr 15, 2010 at 21:27 UTC - 0 likesWhat about making the override bar name a feature for all bars? Like a user could make a bar watching "Sunder Armor, Expose Armor" and have the bar only read "Major Armor Debuff".
The dialog box where you put in the name of the buff/debuff could have an extra input field labelled "Text to display (leave blank to show buff/debuff name)". If Blizz doesn't have a template for that, we'd have to make our own. The most intuitive variable name for this would be something like DisplayText.
