NickAlert

Nick Alert scans incoming chat messages and alerts you when they contain one of your character names or nicknames that you set up. It can also alert you to incoming whispers from specified people, or to Real ID messages from specified people. It can also alert you to people coming online and offline.

The nicks are saved per server. The scanning is case insensitive so that Tocar == TOCAR == tocar==Tocardamus so no matter how they type it is should match.

Nick Alert can output to MikScrollingBattleText if installed, its own moveable alert frame, and play a sound to alert you the alert frame is moveable (Left Button) and resizable (Right Button) while the frame is unlocked. Once the frame is locked all mouse input is passed through to whatever is under the frame

To use a custom sound file for the alert you need to make a directory called "\Interface\AddOns\NickAlert_CustomSounds" in the WoW directory and put your file called alert.mp3 or alert.ogg into it before you start WoW

  • for mp3 type "/nalert custommp3 on"
  • for ogg type "/nalert customogg on"

commands can be accessed by typing "/nalert"
"/nacf" will take you to the channel filter options. This filter is a whitelist for channels like "Trade" "Local Defense" "General" and such. If they are not in the list you will not be alerted about them

The Throttle function to stop people from sound spamming you is configurable from 1 to 60 in seconds and 1 to 60 alerts in that time before they don't alert you ( so, from 1 alert a minute up to 360 or just off ). ALL alerts are governed by the throttle. If ChatDebug is set on then it will display info lines on the throttle for feedback and setting it up

Also now has a control panel in with all the other ones and a sub panel for nickname management and chat channel management

New commands have been added

  • /nanl cmd option - Nick Alert NickList nicknames/ triggers the addon will scan the chats for add/rem/display/cfg
  • /nawl cmd option - Nick Alert Whisper List on/off/add/rem/display/cfg turn on/off the whisper alert feature and manage who it will alert you for
  • /nacf cmd option - like above but manages the channel filter list
  • /nabn cmd option - Real ID settings on/off/cfg
  • /namf cmd - manage the message frame on/off/lock/unlock

the cmd "cfg" will open the control panel to that lists specific page

all are available from the rewritten control panel plugin

    Enchantrix has an automation feature that with 1 button press from you can disenchant / mill / prospect the items if you have that skill. I, myself love the auto-disenchant feature when I raid the Auction House. Yes you will have to click the button for each thing you disenchant or mill(x5) or prospect(x5) it is still eaisier than going through your bags and doing it manually

    addon is called "enchantrix" and it prospect mines?

    it is under the enchantrix plugin for it. turn on auto-disenchant and it will ask you if you want to disenchant / mill / or prospect anything that is eligable to be done that you can do

    1- yes, but now karnicrap isn't updated and i would like an addon don't destroy items in crap list, but don't loot items in crap list 2- Auctioneer Suite prospect 5 stack with one click?

    • 2 there is no way to do 1 click for stacks... Blizzard won't let you. You can't even call a button click from an addon if it does anything at all close to casting. You can make a macro that clicks the button for you but you can't call that macro from a script either... because all actions have to be called from secure buttons.

    Auctioneer Suite has the ability to auto-prospect a 5 stack... it will ask as soon as you get one and it takes 1 click per 5. It seems to be the best option.

    I have two ideas 1 - An addon like "crap filter" (not updated) that lets you filter loot by the player depending on the parameters 2 - An addon that lets you do prospect only clicking once. For example, a panel that tells you for each mineral, the quantity and button next to "expect everything" or "expect ... or 3 .... 4 .... or 10" stack. Maybe even the option to see the report of what was found with the prospect

    i've not any problems with other addon's sliders. Excuse me if sometimes i don't understand all you tell me :P Now addon work perfectly!!! No bug! :D PS: If u want create a new addon i have an idea about profession addon. If u need a graphics work, i use photoshop :P

    (What I was wondering was if you had any problems with other addon's sliders not saving for you)

    all options works. "Amount of time to throttle over" and "Max Number of alerts in above" work but the PANEL don't save my setting, while i set valor manually (by command slash) the panel save setting
