1.7 properly alerts users when they receive a tell when it has been at least 5 minutes since their last tell. Additionally, users will receive an alert when receiving a tell if they have entered combat since the last time they received a tell.

1.6 is up to date for patch 2.0.4. A cursory examination has not revealed any obvious patch problems. Additionally, the nickname detection strategy has been much improved, and will now correctly match all occurrences of your nicknames with fewer (zero?) false positives.

1.5 will not make a noise every time you receive a tell, only if it has been at least 5 minutes since the last receipt. Also, chat containing the names or nicknames of any of your characters will now appear in orange in the raid warning box (at the top of the screen). Finally, your own chat will not trigger the addon, only the chat of others.
