Attempts to simplify the mundane portions of being master looter, such as rolling shards and handing out BoE greens. There is also an optional companion addon, OpenRoll Windows, that displays roll windows for other players whenever items are rolled off.
/openroll [item] begins a a roll for [item]. /openroll 4x[item] begins a roll for 4 [item]s
The addon will track who has rolled, and at the end of the designated time print the winners.
When looting items, a number of new buttons are displayed for items capable of being master looted. These buttons allow you to quickly loot the item to a designated banker ["Bank"], disenchanter ["Disenchant"], to a random member of the raid ["Raid"], to a specific member of the raid ["Award"], or perform an open roll as described above.
All configuration is performed via the blizzard options frame.
The most recent version greatly extends the ways for third party addons to communicate with OpenRolls. Almost all functionality of the rolls can be customized on a per-roll basis, including things like the expected roll range and length of the individual rolls, and how the winner of a roll is determined. For more information on this, see the file Third-Party.txt.
