12 - Switching Trinkets Interrupts Herbalizing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be on a flying mount with an outfit already designed to equip a riding crop when you're mounted (and have that riding crop mounted).
2. Find an herb to pick.
3. Land, and pick the herb. The moment the riding crop gets switched out for something else, it interrupts the herbalization process. This didn't happen prior to the 2.4.3 patch of WoW, so I'm guessing it has something to do with that.
