40 - Allow outfitt to be "complete" even without shirt or tabard.
I would like an option to allow outfits to show up under the "complete outfits" part even if they do not have a tabard and/or shirt.
Its annoying to have to update 5+ different outfits everytime you want to switch to a new tabard, but I do like to have the "full" outfits at the top, even if they do not include the tabard (and/or shirt)
This behaviour does not need to be default, an option to enable it is fine :)

tlundse Sun, 17 May 2009 22:02:05I never wrote a comment to this since i didn't really have anything to add, but I just wanted to post and say that I think its wonderful that you agree with my "problem" and that you might, hopefully, change Outfitter in the future to better fit my needs. Thank you. I am a long time user of Outfitter. :)

Mundocani Mon, 04 May 2009 18:11:34There is a subtle difference in behavior between Complete and Accessory outfits, which is that Complete outfits always replace every slot and unequip any other outfits you're wearing.
This serves an important purpose internally, which is to clear the stack of temporary outfits you may have accumulated. Temporary outfits are created when you manually equip an item, such as a quest item (the Argent lance, the Nagrand goggles, etc.). Without the Complete outfits clearing out all that they could continue to build up internally.
What I'm planning for a future version is to separate the behavior of Complete outfits from the display of Complete outfits so you could assign your own categories and put outfits wherever you'd like. The hard part is ensuring that those temporary outfits will eventually get cleared out. I may be able to solve that problem by simply showing any temporary outfits in the list so that you can see they're there and unequip them yourself when necessary.
In summary, I agree the category and behavior thing are too closely related and that makes it harder to both control Outfitter as well as to arrange your outfits in a way that's meaningful to you. The hard part is finding a solution that's both easy to understand and which works well.
