34 - Killed / Not Yet added to tooltips for Rares
My friends and I have found the tooltip text for achievements like the Squirrels and Well Read and Higher Learning (and the throwing Snow and Rose Petals achievements) to be one of the most handy things about this addon.
I accidentally stumbled across one of the Wrath rares for Northern Exposure, and only realized it was such when my friend said, "oh, that's one of the rares for the achievement." As all of us are avid Overachievers, yesterday we had the thought that it would be extremely handy to have "already killed" and "not yet killed" text added to the tooltips for said mobs. So, you know, in a year when we find the next one, we'll know what it's for : p.

From what little I understand of the lua, it seems that you don't need an entire text list of the mobs, but only the appropriate achievement number? Man, I wish I weren't such a lua noob : x.

Tuhljin May 30, 2009 at 12:11 UTC - 0 likesImplemented in r24 as part of a new option that also encompasses many other "kill creature" achievements. Please give it a test and let me know how it goes, and of course, watch out for file updates (don't stick with r24 once a newer version is released).

Indeed, would be a nice adition to OA... that two achievements and its followups.
