32 - Armor Type Specialization
What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
One of two things. Either somehow integrating a system which can detect if your armor specialization is active or will be active with a certain piece of gear and then adding 5% to the value of the main stat, or an ability to not run calculations of certain armor types.
Please provide any additional information below.

However, the second is already possible: the built-in Wowhead scales already ignore items that the character class can't equip, but for your own scales you can also ignore items of a lower armor type. For example, for a druid, if you scroll the stat list on the Values tab down to Armor types, you should see that Mail and Plate are marked as unusable. If you want to also ignore values on cloth armor since you'd lose your specialization, you could mark it as unusable, or if you wanted to be more accurate, give it a large negative value. (For example, equipping a piece of cloth armor would reduce a balance druid's intellect by several hundred points, so if Intellect were valued at 50, you might set the value of Cloth to, say, -50*200 = -10000. Or, just click the "Items with this are unusable" checkbox.) You won't be able to change the built-in scales, so if you're using those, you'll need to make a copy first and then modify the copy.
