6 - [PATCH] 3.3.3, random bgs

with 3.3.3 patch going live, preform 2.43 does not work reliably anymore.
i managed to make it behave as intended. patched version can be downloaded from http://dennis.krupenik.com/pae-2.44.zip
Please, review and add missing localizations (i added 'en' and 'ru' only).
