RABuffs is a complex addon designed to simplify buffing in raids, as well as relay tactical information that may be of use to the raid leader (or simply to anyone interested). The main interface consists of a window displaying several bars which complete based on how many people statisfy the query condition, segments of bars may flash if the query condition may expire soon (in cases like buffs fading).
Queries are the RABuffs term for checking just about anything from buffs to debuffs to global conditions like health or PvP-tags. At the time of writing, RABuffs is capable of performing a little under 90 different queries -- buffs from each class as well as special queries (health, mana, pvp etc). Queries can be limited to only scan through specific groups and/or classes -- it is feasable to display a bar for mana (or any of the other buffs/queries) of the priests and druids in groups 3-5, for example. In addition to this, RABuffs shares buff expiery data with the raid group, so soon-expiring buffs will also show up as flashing bar segments (option to parse CT_RaidAssist-sourced buff data may be turned on, but this may prove innacurate due to a bug in CTRA).
Clicking on a bar displaying a buff you can cast will result in RABuffs casting the buff on a person needing it - group/class versions of buffs are also optionally suported and are automatically cast when it is worthwhile to cast a group/class buff (typically more than 2 people requiring buff in the same group/class; although this can be modified through settings).
RABuffs can also output status messages of the specific queries (typically names of those [not] buffed) to party, raid, channels or through a whisper. This can be used when you want to draw attention to some buffs being missing from the raid group. This output can be triggered by CTRL Clicking on a bar or using a slash command.
RABuffs registers the following slash commands, help for which is displayed when the commands are typed without parameters, or by using SlashHelp: /rab /rabq.
