What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed the addon on my priest.
2. Added the Deathknight and the pet to the Layout Fortitude. Pet has no tooltip but I assume the icon left to self means pet.
3. Created a new Layout for Shadow Protection and added all classes including pets (see above :)).
3. The queries for Shadow Protection and Fortitude are empty and the Lua error "malformed pattern" occurs.

What version of the product are you using?
1.3.1.
